Bob Thornhill’s sister, Melita, has reached out to the Local to share that Bob is in palliative care in Burnaby Hospital.
She would like to let anyone that knew him know that he is in room 2D if anyone would like to visit before he passes.
He is currently asleep and is expected to pass within the next two weeks.

The date has been changed to November 8, 2023 between 10am – 2pm
THE STATUTORY HOLIDAY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2023(NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION) WILL BE A WORKING DAY FOR THE TERMINAL.
BCMEA WILL BE AT THE 502 DISPATCH HALL, OCT 6th AND NOV 3rd 2023, BETWEEN 10AM AND 2PM.
APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE PRIOR TO HAVING ONE ISSUED.
RENEWALS SHOULD BE COMPLETED WITH IN 30 DAYS OF EXPIRY.
