This year’s ILWU Local 502 Adult Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 6 2025 from 6:30pm-1am.

Tickets will cost $25 each. Your $25 ticket will get you a $25 One20 Pub gift card
at the door on the night of the party, to purchase whatever you want from their menu.
The grand prize given away this year will be a $1,000 Air Canada Gift Card

Social Committee Meeting At The Hall-Monday, November 10th

2025 Young Workers Conference: Sept 10-12 2025
This year’s Young Workers Conference “United in Struggle” will be held from Wednesday, September 10th to Friday, September 12th at the Maritime Labour Centre, located at 1880 Triumph Street, Vancouver, BC. You must have signed up and attend all three days for credited time.
Reminder: If you signed up to attend you are expected to attend ALL THREE DAYS. ILWU 502 will provide credited time for you attendance.
Conference registration will begin at 8:00am on September 10th and sign-in will begin at 8:30am on the 11th and 12th. The Conference program will run each day from 9am to 4:30pm. Please arrive promptly for registration and sign-in to be on time for the first session each morning.

New Recruit Orientation – Sept 7 9am
We are going to be doing a new recruit orientation at 9am at the hall on September 7th, 2025 for all the recruits brought in this past month.
We will be talking about the history of ILWU, our Local, as well as tell you more about dispatch, training, medical leave, and many many other things, so please do your best to attend, there’s lots of great information to share that will help you as you start down here.
