We are saddened to share the news that Brother Gerry White passed away on December 4, 2025. His family gathered for a private memorial on December 20 to celebrate his birthday and his remarkable life.

Gerry was a pillar of our Union from the 1970s until his final days. From his time as President and Vice President to his work on the Executive and caucus committees, his impact was felt across every level of our organization. He was a champion of our shared history, helping create the Local 502 history book and guiding new recruits and Union Members through the orientation committees.

Beyond his formal roles, Gerry was a trusted advisor and a friend to our Officers. While we can list his many achievements, simple words cannot truly do justice to the heart and soul he gave to this Union. His wisdom, dedication, and presence will be deeply missed by his entire Union family.
