ILWU Local 502

Sadly, Brother William (Bill) James Lesiuk passed away on March 14, 2024. He was a Member of Local 502 in the early 1980’s, and then transferred to Local 514.  The dates for the service are To Be Announced.

Brother Richard Tomkulak  (Dec. 3, 1963-Apr. 19^th, 2024)

An unforgettable, always-interesting, and often insightful longshoring brother passed away in Surrey, leaving behind friends and family to mourn his life, including his mother, brothers, children, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Richard was an intensely loyal and complicated person, and we will all feel the gap left by his absence. With deep gratitude, the family thanks the Baird Blackstone Supportive Housing facility in Guilford for their humane and respectful approach to caring for Richard in the past few years. If possible, a donation in Richard’s name to the Baird Blackstone facility at Lookousociety.com would acknowledge his appreciation.

Sadly, brother Robert Thornhill, passed away October 3rd.
